Our client is an established UK Utilities Contractor with experience of delivering diverse projects. They currently have an excellent opportunity for an NRSWA Coordinator to join their Telecoms Department.

 

The Role:

You will be responsible for issuing, managing and co-ordinating permits to work, ensuring minimal disruption to the Road Network in accordance with the Permitting Scheme and the NRSWA and TMA compliance.

  • Support the NRSWA project teams with all planning related responsibilities associated with the management of their contracts and reporting requirements
  • Participate and support the project teams in project and programme planning and progress meetings
  • Identify and maintain programme / project milestone and schedule interface activities relating to NRSWA and the project
  • Maintain up to date and accurate schedule interface requirements
  • Maintain awareness of commitments and undertakings and support efforts to manage the requirements to avoid breach

  • 2/4 Hour Defects
  • Interim's permitting and allocating
  • In day progress chasing of teams
  • Extensions Reinstatement
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Ad hoc Admin

Experience & Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Good interpersonal, written and oral communication and organisational skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Packages

 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of linear projects within civil engineering & utilities
  • Contract based programmes
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management
  • Experienced Complex NRSWA Planner
  • Experienced with traffic management plans
  • Experience in performing, monitoring and reviewing planning and scheduling functions.
