The Client Bracken Recruitment represents is an established Design & Build Contractor with a fantastic reputation. They have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced hands on Operations Director with a strong Residential background who is seeking work with a business with a strong market presence. The position would suit an ambitious Operations Director looking for their next challenge or an experienced Senior Contracts Manager or Project Director looking for a step up in their career. 

The position would be covering the Northern Regions and would require weekly travel to live projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to Lead a number of projects simultaneously from concept stage to completion
  • Provide strong leadership skills and communicate accordingly to all of the management team
  • Liaising with clients, and Contracts Managers
  • Ensure that projects are running on time and on budget
  • Providing weekly reports to the Managing Director
  • Assess all project risks
  • Liaise with Senior Management to Ensuring that all Safety Management Systems are in place and in operation
  • Liaise with Senior Management regarding resources for live and future projects
  • Tender report / analysis / recommendations
  • Develop project scope with design team / client
  • Produce budgets and reports for clients

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a similar position
  • Experience managing a team of Senior Management
  • Commercially and contractually sound
  • Excellent communicator
  • Hands on when required
  • Strong knowledge of large residential schemes
  • Experience liaising with Clients
