Bracken Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer with Rail experience. You will be working for a reputable Rail Contractor with genuine career progression for ambitious individuals.

Project Engineer Duties:  

  • Ensuring the Scheme project design is implemented to required tolerances adhering to the project specification. 
  • Overall management and implementation of the Quality management plan for all site works.   
  • Ensure works are being carried out in line with the 4 week look ahead.  
  • Weekly progress meetings with the site team ensuring the required plant, labour and materials are available and sufficient for upcoming works.  
  • Assessment of Temporary works requirements for the scheme and development of Temporary works design briefs.  
  • Preparing RFI/TQ’s and liaising with designers. 
  • Recording Field design Changes on redline drawings and as built surveys. 
  • Compliance with CDM 2015 Regulations.  
  • Weekly reporting directly to the Project Manager.

 

Required Competencies/Skills   

  •  Competent with Leica total station and GPS systems. 
  • Efficient in CAD and all MS Office applications. 
  • PTS AC/DCCR 
  • CSCS  
  • BEng or BSc would be preferable.
