Bracken Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor with NEC-3 and JCT contract knowledge for one of our clients who is working on a multi-million-pound Civil Engineering projects in Berkshire.      

Our Client is a multi-disciplined Principal Civil Engineering Contractor delivering projects that are time and safety critical. They have a track record of working on some of the most exciting projects within the UK.

The contractor offer clear career progression, on the go training, private healthcare, company car/car allowance.

This position would suit someone from a Utilities background and with previous experience working on a major project.
The successful candidate will be one of the lead Quantity Surveyors on this prestigious project.

Skills & Experience:

• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role (minimum)
• Strong knowledge within Civil Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Experience using the NEC3 & JCT form of contract
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook and Excel
• Strong time management skills
• Hard working and ambitious

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (or the equivalent)
